There I was again tonight. I invited to join a party with all my beloved friends. I was happy since I can meet my old friends there. On my way, it has gone happily but, then, when I was there, everything wasn’t as well as what I have imagined. I was forcing myself to laugh with faking smiles. There was full with walls of insincerity. Then when all have been same old tired, I was shifting my eyes and I found a vacancy of love. I couldn’t enjoy everything but him. What I have felt before, it vanished when I saw his face. All I can see is that it was enchanting to meet him. It just like his eyes whispered “have we meet?”. Ohh God! his sillhouette crossed the room, and starts to make its way to me, then I founded in a lonely place.
“Hi, I’m Jhonatan, what’s your name?”

“Oh, my name is Taylor. Nice to meet you”

“What’s a great name. Nice to meet you too, taylor”
There was only both of us, then the playful conversation starts. I was countering all his quick remarks like passing notes in secrecy. Haha, what a great conversation. All I can say is I was enchanted to meet him. This night is sparkling and I don’t let it go. At 2 AM one game question kept me up, “who do you love?” I wonder till I’m wide awake.
I was wonderstruck with blushing all the way home. He made me crazy of love. His face is running up on my mind and I couldn’t throw it out. It is what we called as love, isn’t it? I know I’m pacing back and forth. In my life, he is the best boy that I ever met. My thoughts will echo his name until I see him again.
3 AM, I was in my own house. I was so sleepy then I went to my bed to have a sleep. Before I closed my eyes, I wish to meet him again, someday. “Tokk.. tok… tok…” I heard someone knock my door, that wake me up. I went to my door to open it. And you know, I don’t believe it, He was at my door. I would open up.
“Hey” he said.

I was getting stuck and I couldn’t speak.

“May I enter?” asked him.

“Of course, you may”

We were sitting on ottoman.

“I..” he whispered slowly closer to my ear “love you”
What is it? what’s kind of condition that I was facing? does he love me too? Is it true? Oh my God, This night is flawless, we were dancing around all alone. This is my praying that this was the very first page of my love story and not where the storyline ends.
“Please, don’t be in love with someone else” These are the words I held back as I was leaving too soon “Please, don’t have somebody waiting on you”.
“Kriiinnggg… krriiinnggg…” My alarm is ringing. I wake up from my bed, then I washed my face. I was looking for jhonatan and I be aware of I just have a dream.

The Crying Stone

In a small village, a girl lives with her mother. The girl is very beautiful. Everyday she puts make-up and wears her best clothes. She doesn’t like to help her mother work in a field. The girl is very lazy.

One day, the mother asks the girl to accompany her to go to the market to buy some food. At first the girl refuses, but the mother persuades her by saying they are going to buy new clothes. The girl finally agrees. But she asks her mother to walk behind her. She doesn’t want to walk side by side with her mother. Although her mother is very sad, she agrees to walk behind her daughter.

On the way to the market, everybody admires the girl’s beauty. They are also curious. Behind the beautiful girl, there is an old woman with a simple dress. The girl and her mother look very different!

“Hello, pretty lady. Who is the woman behind you?” asks them.

“She is my servant,” answers the girl.

The mother is very sad, but she doesn’t say anything.

The girl and the mother meet other people. Again they ask who the woman behind the beautiful girl. Again the girl answers that her mother is her servant. She always says that her mother is her servant every time they meet people.

At last, the mother cannot hold the pain anymore. She prays to God to punish her daughter. God answers her prayer. Slowly, the girl’s leg turns into stone. The process continues to the upper part of the girl’s body. The girl is very panicky.

“Mother, please forgive me!” she cries and ask her mother to forgive her.

But it’s too late. Her whole body finally becomes a big stone. Until now people still can see tears falling down the stone. People then call it the crying stone or batu menangis.

WHO ATE THE BREAD

Once upon a time, there were an old man and his son lived in a suburb. His wife has died when the boy was two years old. She got heart attack. The old man loved his son so much that he gave everything his son asked. It was because he did not want to see his son sad. He did not want to lose his only on, as he had already lost his wife. He wanted to grow his son well, so that his wife could smile.

The boy named Han. Han was sixteen and was a charming boy. He was oval-faced, thanks to his thin cheek. His eyes were as deep as the blue sea. He had a pointed nose—which shone when the sunlight passed on it. His lip was as nice as a thin cut-lemonade.

Just a week later, he would have his birthday party. The party would be the greatest party ever. All villagers would be invited to attend the party. Their house would be beautifully decorated by the professional decorators. Han’s father took his son to the most branded saloon in the city. He got his new hair-style. He also got some expensive shirts, T-shirts, and trousers that they bought in famous stores.

The day Han and his father were waiting for was coming. Han was dressed up well by the young talented artists. He wore a white shirt combined with a black jacket. He looked more handsome in that suit. The guests were also young, gorgeous girls. They tried to attack Han’s attention by wearing expensive gown and twinkle accessories. They all looked pretty, just like fairies in story tales. Some boys also attended the party. But, they were not as charming as Han.

When all guests were talking about what they were going to show to Han--in order to attacked his attention, he came out of his bedroom and greeted them. All girls stood up and were surprised to see their charming prince. The party began. The music turned on.

Some pretty girls came close to Han. Han was not interested with them, except a girl. The girl was wearing a worn, flashy pink with races on the bottom-edge costume. She did not put any accessories on her hair, unlike other girls. Her eyes were as cold as the ice in the north-pole. Her face was gloomy, just like a child who lost her beloved mother. She was sitting alone next to the pile of groceries.

Han walked up to the girl. He did not talk to her. He just looked deeply into her eyes while squatting on the ground. Then, Han began to talk. He asked the girl’s name and her intention to attend to his party. Actually, she did not want to attend Han’s birthday party. Besides that, she disliked Han and his father, that they were arrogant. She attended Han’s birthday party was just because her parents asked her to.

Did Han angry to the girl? No, he did not. Han admitted his and his father’s arrogance. Why did he do that? It was because he fell in love with the girl. He fell in love in the first sight. He saw an outstanding beauty in that girl. The girl was different from other girls. She had beautiful eyes. Her smile was like a fairy’s, eventhough she was not smiling. Her face was as bright as a full-moon. She gave a warm to Han, the warm that could never make him took his eyes off of her.

Han turned on his motorcycle. He rode it and took the girl with him. Everyone was thunderstruck. Some girls jumped on conclusion that Han was crazy. They were very disappointed because Han preferred to take the very strange and flashy girl rather than to choose them—who had given their best performance for him. Even some girls cried that they were not able to be Han’s girlfriend.

It was almost a year that Han had not come back to his house. There was no news where he was. The girl was not at her house, either. Han’s father went to see a well known shaman to look for his son. The shaman told him that Han was brought by a fairy to a very, very wonderful place.

“Was there a girl with a worn, flashy pink gown in the party?,” asked the shaman.
“Yes, there was a very strange girl with flashy costume. Han rode her and they never returned since that day,” Han’s father replied.

“Well, the girl is a fairy instead of a human being. She comes to look after a kind man, a man who is not interested by physical appearance, but he loves a girl because of her inner beauty.”

“Will he return home?,” Han’s father asked again.

“No, he will not be able to be a human anymore. The fairy has put him as her family’s member. He has dead already. You can find his body near the river whose water is red in its hilt, “ said the shaman.

Han’s father went to the river and found his son’s dead body. Then, Han was graved next to his mother’s grave. Han’s father put a piece of bread on his son’s grave instead of spreading flowers.

The next day, Han’s father came to his son’s grave, the bread became smaller. He thought that his son ate the bread. He was very happy that he always put one on his son’s grave everyday. No one could understand whether Han ate the bread or not. No one asked Han’s father why he did this out of thought thing. He just felt happy after putting the bread there.

When I was Junior High School, I knew him. Even if we didn’t ever meet, we were always sent a message each other with SMS (Short Message Service). He was a good boy, cared to me and funny. After a week, he asked me to be his girlfriend. At the moment, I didn’t want, because I didn’t love him. After some days, he asked me again but I rejected him. Then, he said that he would to go if I didn’t accept him. Finally, I forced to accept him to be my boyfriend, my first boyfriend, because I didn’t want he went, not cause I loved him.

Then, I told my friends that he was my boyfriend. All of my friends didn’t agree because they thought that he was bad and not suitable for me. They ordered me to stopped love him and broken off our relationship. I was confused. When I came back to home, I can’t broken off with him because I was aware that I was very love him. Finally, I passed this relationship without blessing of my friends.
Next month, he was honest to me that he had a girlfriend again. I was shocked, angry, peevish and jealous. I asked him to chose me or her. If he chose her, I would to go. But, if he chose me, he must go from her. I thought that he would chose her, not me. Then, he chose me. I was very happy and forgave him.
When I was birthday, he gave me a ring. I was happy. I felt nothing again that I want because I had him. Then, I passed all with happiness. Fortunately, we was a schoolmate. So, I can see him every day. He ever didn’t call me for a month because his phone was broken. But, I even with him.

After he bought a phone again, he sent a message for me. Finally, I can communicated with him. But, since that I felt that he was change. I felt he didn’t love me again. He loved someone. I saw him with a girl at school. He talked with that girl in front of me. When he sang at competition, he never look at me. When I went to home, he didn’t wait me again. When I got the first ranking, he didn’t congratulate me.
January 7th is his birthday. I bought a shirt as present for him. I forced him to meet. At the moment, he was very nice and cared to me. But, next night suddenly he broken off our relationship. He said that he can’t hold in with me. At the moment, I accepted his chosen. I let him go.
My heart was broken. He changed very fast. Until now I can’t forget him. I still love him. He taught me many things, about love, loyal and sacrifice. I can’t forget all memories about him. I want he come back to me. I still alone. I am hurt because of him. But, I can’t hate him. I hope he is always happy. I pray for his happiness. Maybe, a long of my life I’ll never forget him until the day I die. He is my first love, my prince.
